Teeth Whitening

Porcelain veneers are a safe, effective, and quick option to completely remake your smile. Instead of enduring multiple visits and complicated surgical procedures, patients are able to achieve healthy, whiter smiles in just a few steps with porcelain veneers. They can be used to cover discolorations, chips, cracks, fill in gaps, and correct minor misalignments. When proper care is taken, porcelain veneers are also long lasting.

In-Office Teeth Whitening

During a one-hour Zoom!® teeth whitening treatment at our Coral Gables practice, your teeth can become several shades lighter. First, a bleaching gel is applied to the teeth. Then the area is exposed to a special light. The light activates the gel, helping it to remove stains and discoloration while leaving the surrounding tooth structure and gums unaffected. The gel is then washed off to reveal consistently brilliant teeth.

At-Home Teeth Whitening

Our patients can also choose to whiten their teeth at home with our take-home whitening trays. These trays are custom fit to your mouth during your first teeth whitening visit. We will also show you how to apply the prescription whitening gel to the trays so that your at-home teeth whitening system produces the results you desire. You will wear the trays during the day or at night for a specified amount of time, and your teeth will begin to lighten in only a few days.

If you are interested in teeth whitening, contact our Coral Gables practice near Miami Beach to schedule an appointment. We can help you decide which method is best for you.

Tooth-Colored Restorations

When a tooth is damaged due to decay or injury, a restoration is typically needed to restore health and function to the tooth. At our dental office, we offer tooth-colored restorations. Unlike traditional metal restorations that are noticeable, such as gold or silver crowns and amalgam fillings, tooth-colored restorations blend in with surrounding teeth for a completely natural-looking appearance.

Tooth-colored restorations include veneers, crowns, inlays, and onlays made of porcelain, as well as fillings and dental bonding made from other tooth-colored materials. These restorations are often an important part of a smile makeover and can be used to replace old metal fillings, crowns, and other restorations. In addition to the clear aesthetic advantage, tooth-colored restorations also carry less risk of allergic reactions compared to traditional metal restorations.
